JUNE 2008
June 14: Tractor Drive and "A Day on the Farm."
Come check out all the fun during this "Day on the Farm" event. The city of Greeville asked the museum to take over the city's annual Dairy Day, previously held on the square in Downtown Greenville. Dairy Day will now "moove" out to the museum grounds, where we plan to expand the number of features and events.

There will be several arts and crafts booths as well as dozens of activities for people of all ages.

We will be milking the cow, eating ice cream, churning butter, planting seeds, working an area with antique machinery and hand equipment to prepare itfor planting. Additionally, there will be hay rides and pony rides.

We will also be shocking wheat and bundling it for threshing during the summer show. There will be games for the kids, a petting zoo, mining for rocks, dancing, music, food and much more.

Watch here for updated information.

Our tractor drive will leave around mid-morning and return before noon. They will be winding around some country roads and there will be wagons to ride in if one wants to go along. There will be food on the grounds and demonstrations all around. Come on out and spend the day on the farm.

If you are interested in setting up an arts and crafts booth, call Sandy in the evening at 664-0265 or 645-3160.
